You just have to call 16122 from any phone. From the other end of the phone, the land service hotline operator will do the rest for the customer. You can apply for Khatian or Mouza map in 4 minutes by calling 16122, you can pay the fees as well. Similarly land development tax can also be paid in this way.
Fees can be paid through digital financial services such as Nagad, Rocket, bKash, Upay or any debit or credit card.
Apart from calling 16122, landowners can also apply in
person by visiting the
land.gov.bd land service web platform, with the mobile land service app or with the help of UDC.
How to get land ledger or land map by calling from home: Applicant
will call 16122 and after providing land information along with NID, call center will submit application for ledger or land map on behalf of the applicant. The applicant will then receive a token on his mobile. If the applicant pays the fee through the mobile with the token number, he will get the application ID and delivery date on the mobile. On the specified date, the representative of Bangladesh Postal Department will deliver the ledger or land map to the address of the applicant.
In addition, you can view any citizen ledger from any place at any time from the virtual record room. Court fee of Tk.50 / - for delivery from Certified Copy counter. You have to pay extra Tk. 40 for delivery of ledger to your address by post.
How to pay land development tax by calling at home : To pay land development tax, call
16122 (or from
land.gov.bd ) and register by providing land information with NID. After receiving the registration information, if the union land office approves, the holding entry will end. Information of holding number will be sent to the applicant via SMS. Then the citizen has to call 16122 again and provide the holding information.
Then an SMS of token number will come to the citizen's mobile from the call center. With the token number of the mobile banking pay-bill, the land owner can pay the land development tax of his land within 72 hours. The digital entry will be saved in the citizen's account within 72 hours of paying the land development tax.
Note that these services will reduce the chances of abuse of power by the concerned government employees and will be integrated with e-leaflets, e-registration, LD tax system, virtual hearing system. In addition, citizens now have the opportunity to deposit fees in the immediate government treasury through mobile financial services and collect duplicate carbon receipts (DCRs) online without having to go to the land office. This will greatly reduce the cost and suffering of the people.
The above mentioned land services were launched on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Bhumi Bhaban Auditorium in Tejgaon by the Minister of Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury by inaugurating the land service by post, digital payment in land service and call center.
